Where the Name Comes From
It started at the family game table. My daughter was running a D&D session as DM -- her first time behind the screen -- and something happened mid-encounter that produced the phrase “aggressive wiggling.” I don’t remember the exact ruling that led to it. I remember the laugh.
That’s the thing about TTRPGs: the best moments are the ones nobody planned. The improvised ruling that becomes table canon. The monster tactic that gets named and referenced for the rest of the campaign. The phrase that sticks.
Aggressive Wiggling Supply Co. is named after one of those moments. It’s a reminder that the products exist to serve the table, not the other way around.
What We’re Trying to Do
Aggressive Wiggling Supply Co. is a small, independent game accessory company based in Michigan. We design spell cards, monster cards, character sheets, and other reference materials for tabletop RPG players.
The goal is simple: make tools that actually get used. Not collected. Not admired and shelved. Pulled out every session, written on, worn at the edges, and missed when they’re left at home.
Every product is tested at a real table before it ships. If it slows down play instead of speeding it up, we redesign it.
How We Design
Every design starts in monochrome. If it doesn’t work in black and white on standard copy paper, it doesn’t move forward. Color is never load-bearing.
Every element earns its place. Decorative borders, background fills, and flavor art are cut if they compete with the information a player needs mid-session.
Layouts are tested in actual play before release. Real tables find problems that mockups don’t. If something gets in the way of a good session, we fix it.
